Parting ways

Two years of working for Company S, its time to say goodbye.

Two interesting years full of challenges at work. Everyday was a learning experience. I had a very good and competent team. But good things does not last forever. It is a sad thing to let go but financial situations have made Company S made the difficult decision.

Today, it is my last day. My drawers are cleaned, final reports and project documentation are already made and submitted, what is left is to say our last farewell to the great engineers here that I have worked with this past 2 years.

It was so gracious of them to give us a very nice farewell dinner. It was not a sad event, we had fun eating , drinking and recalling the time we had at work. The little secrets shared and jokes thrown at each other. It was very late when we finished, but everybody was relaxed and well fed.

 

 

The restaurant was small and room we were in does not even resemble a dining room, it looks like somebody’s bedroom but the food was really good specially the shrimp bread. Lovely dinner with a great company.  ご馳走さまでした。

The restaurant is called Imakura , a small restaurant about 3 minutes walk from JR Suminodo Station. The food is a fusion of French and Osaka cuisine. It was surprisingly good.
