Train Musings : On Salary

Fifteen years ago, I joined the work force and my salary was about 8,000 Pesos ( about $200). It was enough.

Now I earned 10x more and yet it’s barely enough.  You might think, you have an expensive lifestyle , but for those who knows me, I hate shopping except for food and books. Or is the family support getting way out of hand?

How much is enough?

  1. I don’t think there can ever really be enough… but if you’re lucky you can save some for a rainy day. The cost of living always seems to be that much higher than the salaries.
Nice to see you again, my dear. 🙂

    • Yes, I’ve been doing that-saving. I do live in one of the most expensive countries in the world. Right now, my train fare alone is basically my former salary.

Thanks for visiting again Linda. I need to catch up on your posts, I’ve missed too much already.

      • Wow – you must almost wish you could live on the train and give up the cost of living somewhere! Haha. 🙂
I look forward to seeing you around more often!

Any thoughts?
