Comfort Food: Taiyaki

Taiyaki (鯛焼き) literally means baked sea bream, but nothing in it is made of fish. It is more of a waffle/cake that is shaped into sea bream filled with either chocolate, custard or sweet red bean paste.

This is one of my favorite Japanese treat. I always get one whenever I found a store, like when we went to Sannomiya a few weeks ago. I saw this Taiyaki store along Ikuta Road, going to Ikuta Shrine.
