Laziness has caught up with me again

In blogging that is and if I don’t put a stop to it, this will probably continue for a long time.

So what have I been up to this past few days?

First, went to watch Inori  Hoshi or Prayer Star/Star Prayer floating in the river near Osaka Castle. To put it simply, people buy this LED glowing ball which represent your prayer/wish or whatever you call it.  Then you can let it flow into the river. Actually they did not let it flow all the way cause that would be bad for the environment. They took it out of the water after the event and probably will use next year.

If you are interested here are some pictures of the event held last August 7, 2011.

Start of the event. As soon as the balls hit the water it started glowing. Blue star very hot prayer indeed 🙂

After a few minutes, this is what happened to the river. It looked nice , except for the garbage on the side 🙂

By the way, these balls are not free. It will cost you 1000 yen for each ball. Just do the conversion in your currency. If you can read Japanese, then you check out the details of this project [Amonogawa Project].

see ya ..
