Minato Mirai


Let’s take a break from the Shizuoka trip and allow me post a not so long ago trip to Minato Mirai in Yokohama.

  1. Wow. Minato Mirai seems to be wonderful place. Have You any idea what Minato Mirai is meaning?

    The first photo is striking to my eyes. Why? I can see in it a very beautiful sailing ship or in better English as they called a Tall Ship. I tried to see its name, but I could not. In my country I have seen many Tall Ships and they are gorgeous.

      Minato means Port/harbour
      Mirai means Future

      unfortunately that tall ship does not go anywhere. it is there only for viewing.
