One thing good living in Sakura House is that I get to have some access to Japanese Classical Performance for free.
First Stop: October 11 Tachikawa Citizen Hall .
But first let’s check out what instrument are used during these performances.
KOTO(箏): is one Japan’s Traditional Instrument. In Tachikawa most of Koto used are the 13-strings Koto.

SHAMISEN(三味線). Is another traditional Japanese Instrument. It look like a guitar but only have 3 strings.

Shakuhachi(尺八). Is a Japanase Bamboo Flute.

The performance started around 10:30 – 15:00 . There were about 16 performers in all, some were really amazing but others were simply boring
. But I still loved the whole performance although I left a bit early ( around 14:00) because of some prior engagement.
